Jeremy Ivey
We’re excited to present Jeremy Ivey playing live renditions of “All Grown Up” and “Death Valley 27”, as well as “The Dream and the Dreamer” and “Greyhound”, both of which are from his debut LP, The Dream and the Dreamer.
The new record from Ivey portrays his own version of the American Dream, a melting pot of genres, ideas, and stories. This is evident on “Greyhound”, “a country rambler about an interminable bus ride” (Rolling Stone) and the title track “The Dream and the Dreamer”. “The best thing I could say is that I'm trying to fill the holes that I can see in the scene,” Ivey says. “Whether it be Americana or country or rock or whatever. There's a certain type of song that isn't being written.”
The Dream and the Dreamer, Ivey’s debut record was released September 13, 2019, on Anti Records. The LP features his band, The Extraterrestrials, and was produced by his wife, Margo Price. “Ivey’s voice is subtle and somewhat reticent but always inviting,” writes American Songwriter. “Producer Price lets the sparse backing drive these songs as on the introspective title track that closes the disc.”
