Among Savages

Among Savages is American singer, songwriter, & producer Peter Barbee. Born in rural Appalachia in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, he moved to Nashville at the age of 16 to pursue music. Barbee released his debut album, Wanderings Of An Illustrative Mind, in 2012 and relocated to Los Angeles to work as an ad music composer. He released his sophomore full-length, Accounts of Friend and Foe, in 2017 followed by tours in North America & Europe. Currently, Peter is converting a 19th century firehouse in western Kentucky into a recording studio and readying his 3rd album. The record’s first single, “White Flashes”, is out now.
